The Children’s Place and TwitterMoms have teamed up to create a fun contest for all the moms here to show off your kid’s style. We want to find the TwitterMom who’s got the most stylish kid! Remember - our children are the future fashion leaders of America! You could win a $50 gift certificate to The Children’s Place just for entering!

How does your child express his or her style? Does he like to dress in fun color combinations? Does she only wear frilly dresses? How is your kid’s style different than everyone else in class? We want to hear from you!

Here’s how it works:

To participate, simply write a post on your own blog that shows us your kid’s style! Feel free to upload photos, videos, etc. of your kids showing off their style in their favorite outfits. The only requirement we ask is that your post includes at least one link to www.childrensplace.com so your readers can see their colorful new summer collection. Then return to this discussion page, post a comment below summarizing your blog post, and include an active link to your qualifying blog entry. That’s it! All winners will be announced on May 15th!

Prizes:

-- The first 20 bloggers to enter the contest will win a $50 gift certificate to The Children’s Place

-- The blogger with the most creative blog post (judged by the designers at The Children’s Place) wins a $200 gift certificate to The Children’s Place

-- The blog post with the most comments after 2 weeks wins a $200 gift certificate to The Children’s Place

do we use what we already have even if we don't have a current children's place item?

I got a mucho stylish kid. Attached is the blog entry:
A Snappy Son
I read that The Children's Place (www.thechildrensplace.com) is trying to get into the blog world with an outstanding promotion. Guess what? I'll bite. Why? See my profile picture? That delicious muffin sitting in front of me is in a Children's Place sweater. And probably jeans, too, though you can't see them. I think they're clothes are the best.
My son has been described as "preppy" and I think that is due in large part to TCP clothes. We all know that there's not nearly as good of a selection for boys as there is for girls ANYWHERE, but if anyone is attempting it, it's them. Their consistent use of seasonal solids make it easy to have a stylish and snappy son. I think, at least.
And then here's the other thing: SENSORY ISSUES. Who else knows not to have crunchy tags, or tag leads that stay in clothes years later? Children's Place! Anyone with a child anywhere on or even NEAR the autism spectrum knows how important that is.
And then there's him. The little mod muffin himself. He has many clothing choices, requests and interests - and I know we can both be happy there. He likes to pick out his favorite sweatshirts or t-shirts and have me find the pants to match. Occasionally it's his favorite navy plaid elastic waist ones, but typically it's jeans. It's like - Grrrrrrrrranimals with style here in my house!
So kudos to you - and to me for being the style beneficiary!
Till later,
The Bag Lady

Want to know the secrets about How To Be a World Traveling Fashionista? We wrote about them here:

http://www.soultravelers3.com/2009/05/how-to-be-a-world-traveling-f...

My 8yo is a world traveling fashionista and that's a picture of her taken yesterday in her clothes from The Children's Place on our terrace here in Spain!

We've been to 29 countries, 4 continents, traveled over 56,000 miles using every type of transportation from cargo ships to camels & have had over 2.5 views on youtube channel since we left on our world tour in 2006.......and my daughter has worn lots of great clothes from The Children's Place!! We love them!

We live large on 25K a year, so really appreciate value along with style. Some of our favorite clothes have been from The Children's Place, so we could not resist this contest. Heck, we'd love them as a sponsor!

Thanks Twittermoms and The Children's Place for having this great contest. We really appreciate you both so couldn't resist entering even though this is the first contest that we have ever entered.

We've got our fingers crossed!

I'm a newbie to Twitter, this site is awesome. I saw the Children's Place Contest ad and thought it was something up my alley cause TCP is it for me!!www.childrensplace.com - I enjoy children's fashion - it's a great way to celebrate their precious moments. I added a few pics on my twitter site reflecting my daughter's fashion - funky, unique and sweet...kinda like a cross between rainbow brite and Punky Brewster at times - a real riot and alot of FUN!!!!!!! Check it out -
