SPAM on Discussion Board

This morning I got an email from a fellow Twitter mom about spamming the discussion board. From the information pasted in the email I couldn't tell if it was directed at me but it was indicating I was removed from their friend list. I think???

Early this morning I did create a post about Black Friday Sales Online with a link to my blog. I am the owner of a baby clothing store and I created a Mr. Linky on my blog and invited other businesses to put their url in and post their sales. It was my hope that online shoppers would have a one stop shopping source to hit other WAHM stores. This was a networking venture, a pay it forward gesture, a wishing you all the best on your sales this Black Friday as we compete with the big guns like Best Buy, Amazon, Old Navy, etc......

It was a way for me to let Twitter Mom online shoppers who wanted to stay in their pj's and drink their coffee that we are here! We are small but we want you to know we are making our best effort to provide you with sales.

It was never my intent to be spammy or lose friends.

I do know that I'm leery of posting a lot of things that I would like to for fear of it being called spam!

In fact--I sent an invitation to all of my Ning friends to join another Ning community--and I got two responses asking me who I was! ???

I get those all the time--but I rarely send them.

LOL--I've gotten off subject here--but I'm sorry you had to go through that.
