Shoes scattered across the floor, shirt thrown on the back of a chair, backpacks and jackets flung in the bottom of the closet, and food wrapper 2 inches away from the trash can. How did it get this bad? Where did I go wrong? I know they know what to do. Put the shoes in the closet, hang up the shirt, put the jacket and backpack away properly, and put the trash in the can. The problem is I am sick of asking. I am sick of them walking over the crap on the floor and looking at me like I am crazy when I tell them to bend over and pick it up. I am thinking of going on strike but my fear of being buried alive under all their junk keeps me cleaning. I have devised this plan to mess up their rooms and take their toys and hide them. I wonder how long it will take before I hear the infamous scream of "Mom, I can't find my,__________" as I sit on the couch with a huge smile on my face. I know I am not alone. You too have felt like a glorified maid. If you could do anything to teach your ungrateful family a lesson what would you do? Be creative with out doing harm =)
