The complete guide to marriage: What kind of wife are you?

  • Rating: No Rating

Is it just me or was 2008 the year of the wife? The heat is off the desperate housewives and all eyes are on that thing that you thought had gone west with our mothers’ generation: the art of being a good wife.

In the space of a few months, the spotlight has shifted from women as mothers, women juggling careers and families, and women who drink too much, to women in their role as wives. This is about a new interest in how females keep their men happy.

For those of us who are using the credit crunch as an excuse not to have our legs waxed and cook only pasta and bottled pesto, there is something called the “average and we’re fine, thanks” wife.

3.) THE PROJECT MANAGER (PM) WIFE

Please leave me a comment about how you mommies are juggling work, marriage, motherhood, momprenuership, etc on my website.

This is a very interesting subject.
I would like to pick several since I am defenitely a mixture of goddess, PM and inspirational wife.
What does that make me ??
I guess the MT- Wife (multi-tasking wife) LOL.

I have 2 kids, a parttime job and a succesful husband. So far everybody seems to be content and happy so I guess I am doing a great job.

The only thing is that I need to tell myself this since others sometimes seem to take it for granted because it always works.

the categories are much more detailed on the website but these decriptions are not written in stone and I am a combo of several of these categories.

I myself have been married for almost 8 years now to my college sweetheart. This article was created in response to a heavy twitter discussion about marriage and the role of women in general.

It is only meant to inspire us moms/women who are married and are happy (or at least making it work).

I love your comments and I hope that you will continue to share, connect and network.

Cheers
P.S. - "remember 2 always make time 4 u, and have a cocktail on me"
