Twitter application recommendations

Hi all - I'm using TweetDeck on a Mac PowerBookG4. It seems to just suck processing speed. Can anyone recommend a twitter application that has the functionality of TweetDeck but still allows them to run other big applications (InDesign, Illustrator etc?)

I don't know of one, but if you find one let me know! The biggest reason I don't use tweetdeck is because of how much of a processing hog it is! I love the functionality of it. While I'm working, I use TwitterFox, but I can't keep up with all my followers very well with it.

Well I am using TwitterFox and TwitterBar for Firefox. I was thinking about TweetDeck but I don't want to overload my desktop.
