I was just browsing through a catalog I received today. Apparently, Ugg boots are still being sold.
What are your opinions of these supposedly warm, comfortable boots? I'm keeping my personal opinion to myself. Big grin.

It's definitely an oxymoron to me! We live in S. CA too and have seen it all!

I think they are completely ugly...but SO COMFORTABLE. However, living in LA, nothing is more annoying than seeing a teenage girl in a tank, mini and Uggs. Isnt that like, an oxymoron?

I just bought a pair of the Classic Tall Ugg boots from Zappos last week. They are so awesomely warm and comfortable! It's getting chilly chilly chilly here in New York, and I'm soooooo glad I bought them!! Well, the hubby bought them for me, but that's besides the point.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I like the way they look (almost all the styles at least.. based on the style I chose I obviously go for more simple designs). They go so well with skinny jeans or leggings in the wintertime.

I just got some knock offs and I never take them off! Are they a little ugly? Yes. Do I look like I'm trying to be 20 again? Yes. But they are sooooo comfortable and warm!

I always said they called them Uggs because they're ugly, then my daughter wanted a pair. We went to the mall and she tried on so many different pairs, and finally chose the mocha colored tall ones. They are absolutely adorable on her! I couldn't resist when she kept talking about how comfortable they were, so I tried some on. I bought some on the spot as my own Christmas gift! I chose the light colored short style, and I wear them all the time! In fact, I'm still wearing them now after taking the kids to school hours ago. They are so comfy that I've forgotten to take them off and put my slippers on! LOL!! My MIL is saying she wants a pair now too. It's 12 degrees outside and I don't wear socks with them, and my feet never get cold. No cold toes here either. I think they're great! Go try some on and feel the difference.

I have to say, I bought a target knockoff type and they're just fine. I can't fathom spending $100 or more on boots that are...ugly...functionally im pretty sure the target ones are fine and for $30, im happy

I just had to read the comments on the UGG boots, I am from Australia and just loved all of your comments. It's a shame that you have trouble getting Australian made boots there. The ones from China usually aren't made from real skeepskin, try to get the real ones if you can (yes they are expensive but they will last you forever), and will be much warmer.

Everyone wears them in our town, I don't know how they afford them. I want a pair.

I've had my uggs since well before they were in. lol Ok, hubby just said they were a really big deal and he got the last pair. This was in 1992! Wow, never asked before, he paid $120 for them. I knew he wasn't supposed to spend money then, but now I feel really bad. He spent a ton on me that year.

But that said now that I just asked him after all these years, lol, they are so worth the money. I've had them for 16 years and they are still top quality. I however do not wear them out everywhere, I wear them around the house and quick trips, nothing I'm walking much. They are super warm and comfy.

They are not the cutes boots but they are the most comfortable and warmest boots. I love to wear them shopping, and since we have snow here, they work well for me. I do have a pair of slippers, that I think are adorable and love them just as well. In fact, on my second pair of slippers and second insoles for the boots.

I have been wearing uggs since 1989. They may not be the greatest looking boots but I can't imagine life without them!!! Bought the crochet style this year. Went back to my basic pair.

I don't have official UGG boots, I have a pair of cheaper knock offs, with big peace signs on the back of them, lol.

They are kinda ugly in a cool kind of way, and they ARE comfy!
