we are headed to Park City, Utah to celebrate my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary -- they are such an incredible example to me of what it takes to have a happy and have a long-lasting marriage.

Hi Megan!
Sounds like an amazing trip. I love NY!

We're going camping for the first time this weekend. Can't wait!

Our usual end-of-summer plans: we wait until the first week of school and go on either a Disney or Nicolodean Cruise. Everything is about 75% and there are no lines at Disneyworld.

Have a great summer everyone!

Hi Megan, Have a great time at Twitter Boot Camp! Wish I had signed up but lots of deadlines this week before we leave for.....Europe for two weeks! Yes indeed, one husband, three kids, 3 suitcases, and a precious debit card with tax refund money waiting to be spent. We start in Paris, then take the train to Cagnes-sur-Mer (French Riviera), then on to Lake Como in Italy and end up in Venice for four days. We can't wait!

We are about to make a big two week trip out to the East Coast with our 2 Year Old and our 4 Month Old. We'll be visiting: Boston, D.C., Maryland, New York, and New Jersey. It will be fun to see friends and family along the way. Can't wait!!!

Europe!! Finally get to take the kids and show them my old stomping grounds: my old office at 1 Broadgate in London and my college at Oxford. Then, it's off to the major cities and some little towns off the beaten track. One town our 14 year old Twi-hard is pressing us to see is where the Twilight sequel, New Moon, was filmed. It's close to Florence, so we'll make a pit stop.
Any tips on shopping, restaurants, sightseeing and cheap but clean hotels across the old continent are very welcomed!!

Pretty much the same as last year. We'll stay close to home and tour Columbus, Ohio. The economy has hit our family pretty hard! No real plans, we will just wing it, if we see something going that looks cool, we'll go. Plan to go to the annual Rib and Jazz Festival, a Crew Soccer Game, maybe the Columbus Zoo.

Thanks.

We're very big on Staycations here. And we're lucky because we live about 15 minutes from our State Park, so we can do a couple of days at the Lodge, a couple of days in a cabin, and a couple of days tent camping whenever the mood strikes :) Since we homeschool we're also sure to hit the zoo, COSI and our state's museums each year.

It's great to read about what everyone else is planning for the summer. Great topic!

Have fun at Twitter Boot Camp, Meagan! We're at Disney World right now for a short stay. We're at Wilderness Lodge for the first time and it is a gorgeous resort.

Our big trip is going to Kansas for my older daughter's wedding! She's getting married on August 2nd. And talk about excitement! We're broke of course, but it's worth it.

We are traveling to Florida- Orange Lake Resort in Kissamee for a week. We usually go to either Disney or Universal Studios, but this year I would love to go to Sea World. The kids love Florida and so do I.

We are heading up in a few weeks to Montreal, for the 30th Anniversary of the Montreal International Jazz Festival! I am very lucky that the Festival is a client of mine, and we take a family trip there because there is tons of great, free music, and also LOADS of activities for kids. I am so excited for this year!
We also have family in Montreal, so it is a great mix of travel for work and pleasure!

http://www.montrealjazzfest.com is the web site for the Festival.

Plans? Summer? Travel? I'm confused, I was supposed to plan something for this summer - ut oh! Today was the last day of school & I have a major case of calendar phobia going on - can't seem to pick a date for anything - will have to remedy that soon!!!

My hubby, his family, and I are taking our 4 yo daughter and two nieces to Disneyworld in August. It's my first time there (as well as my daughter and nieces) so I'm excited! My daughter is totally into princesses and I know she will be thrilled! I'm a little worried about the heat, though, not a fan.
