I predict rough times around Israel coming very soon, which, I believe, will rock things here in America as well. I predict (and hope) Americans will batten down the hatches and not be so extravagant this year and instead reach out a helping hand to one another like never before.

I predict an exciting revolution this year as entertaining comes back home and plates begin to travel. A worsening economy will force people to change the venue of their entertainment from restaurants, pubs and bars to their homes. The stock market is like a bunch of spoiled kids...they pout when they don't get their way. As long as our brilliant politicians give them candy, they will all be happy happy happy.
"Is the economy coming back"...I guess that means are we (taxpayers) gonna be able to give enough money to the banks and big business men that have ripped off the nation and pocketed the profits by preying on poor people who tried to live above their means and haven't a clue about managing their finances. The answer is probably so...but Americans are gonna have to work real hard and pay their taxes so the economy can stabilize, so they can do it all over again!
Who is Brad and Angelina?
Who will win the Oscar for Best Picture?...It's a good thing it's not decided by my single vote...I'm afraid there would be a lot of sad nominees.

My predictions for marketing businesses in 2009 is that there will be a major shift from traditional advertising to non traditional due to cost differences. Non traditional would be online marketing and word of mouth/PR marketing. Social networks (like this) will also play a bigger role....brace yourself for more spam!

Nancy, it's like you were thinking for me, I agree with everything you said! I also think Americans are going to be more focused on going green and saving more than they spend even if stimulus checks get sent out, I predict more people will be depositing them than spending them!
As for Brangelina, I see more & more babies!!! Good luck with your books & DVD's!

President Obama will turn out to be less of a liberal than expected, disappointing some but delighting others. He'll be a classy guy with the critics as well.
People in the U.S. will be much more interested in smaller, individual and family owned businesses. More likely to buy from them, and that will include big ticket items as well. I feel very strongly about that as the confidence in big businesses is going down.
I'll be publishing the first of many books, and filming the first of many DVDs. Very exciting year I think.

1. Obama will not prove to be the anti-christ, nor the savior...but a leader...both good and bad, as they've all been.
2. Brangelina will marry and have twins
3. The gas prices will go back up through the summer like they always do
4. The economy will get worse before it gets better
5. The war will get worse before it gets better
6. I think it'll be a year of inspiration...I think resolutions will be higher than normal for people trying to find hope in hard times, and most will stick to them.

Well I don't know if I want to use the word predictions...for myself...but
I believe that I don't know what the future holds but who holds me which is the Lord Jesus Christ.
Yesterday my job at Lazboy cut me back one day a week and as the top seller I started to cry! I tried not
to but I did...I went to my boss and asked if they could give me back my day and she told me that everyone
got the cut had some time to think...I know that many took a lot huger cut than me because it affected them big time financially where
I will only have my clientelle come see me on my days Tues & weds and weekends...and can actually still work
7 days as I can fill me calendar with appts. -- so actually for me it was a good thing as i can hit the street marketing.
and as a recruiter turned working in a pond sales environment it was like letting me free to fly...
Bottomline...the ecomony looks bleak..but God is our source if you know him...and the worse may actually be the
best opportunity you got...because God is in control...my new motto: TIME IS THE CURRENCY OF THE WEALTHY & God is my source and he arranges the times and raises up one and sets down another.

The economy will turn back slow - I dont expect to see any real "change" until the 3rd quarter.
Our economy is this way because of big (poor) government choices and the American people will begin to realize this. Especially when they start looking at all the stimulus packages that are dished out. That WE pay for.
Our children and grand children will suffer from this the most.
I agree, I dont think Obama will be as liberal as what the majority were looking for.
It will snow in Hawaii and people will start looking at Global Warming differently.

People will find that yes they can.
Love thy neighbor will be expressed more.
People will respect that less is really best.
Families will be stronger.
More people will start thinking out of the box.
Home based business will hit a all time high.
The word "retirement" will be retired.
We will be pleasantly surprised....

Just for fun...
I think Tom Cruise and Will Smith are going to take off in a UFO to join their scientologist friends forever.
I think Obama is going to pimp out the white house (wouldn't that be cool!)
Fashion trends will consist of the ever popular bonnet and long dresses w/aprons - The Amish look
Men will once again will knickers and bow ties
going green will continue and it will be cool to be ultra poor and people like donald trumph will be scorned
for wealth.
Tv and Dvd's will be a think of the past as holograms will be the thing we watch with a flick of a lighter
button anywhere we want to watch it.
gas prices will continue to grow down as politicians fess up that they all have gas tanks built under their
homes and be made to share.
Car CEO's will be forced to have their ex-wives audit their taxes each year.
Free sex of the 60's will be scroned and sweet lady like virgin behavior will be applauded.
Church going will be a must and you will be considered a nerd if you stay home sunday mornings and go
out friday nights.
Alcohol will be charged at 50%
The diet soda makers of fake sugar will get wealthy and run off to Figi before the news hits the street
Newscasters will be fined each time they try to sway the public opinion.
Martha Stewart will run off with Howard Stern
Arnold "The governator" will be allowed to run for the next presidency and make preps for it
pierced earrings will now have built in cell phones and will be more decorative and will cover the whole ear...one ear for phone jewelry.. one ear for hearing
animal activist will insist that animals be allowed to eat in restaurants and board planes in their own seats.
Meg Ryan and adam Sandlar will get married
Bruce will have it out with ashton in a fight at an awards ceremony over Demi
Whitney Houston will surrender her life to God and win millions of people to the Lord
TD Jakes will straighten out the economy and everyone will have great wealth.
Joel Osteen will help him.
George Bush will write a tell all on how he couldn't run the presidency because of all the things
he inherited from the other presidents and all the fighting behind closed doors.
Monica will write a tell all too, and say who paid her off to have her tell all.
Flute music will be extemely popular.
It will be illegal to shave your legs in public
There will be a nudist camp show...show who REALLY goes...and you'll see your grandmother!
Reality show will become a thing of the past and good writer will be sought out and paid big bucks for TV
shows...YOU TUBE WILL take place of reality TV shows-- You can watch them all there...minus the "fake reality" knowing the camera IS following them...
