I would be curious to know what methods you use for stress relief?
Do you use any of these:
1) Meditation
2) EFT
3) Implementing law of attraction principles
(changing your focus on what is happening).
4) Other methods (please share what they are)
I am considering starting a stress relief program with LIVE calls for Mom's and would like to know what methods you are currently using.
Walking the dog- her priorities are so different from mine, it provides perspective on everything
Watch Food network and dream about dishes I could make if I had all of the ingredients
Go shopping- I prefer thrift stores because of the treasure hunting thrill it provides
Go to the library - I love books!
Call my mom (no scratch that, on the second thought it is not a stress relief)
Clean my closet
Exercise
Sewing
Browsing through magazines,blogs or internet window shopping
Cleaning - Nobody will bother me while I'm cleaning, fear of being asked to help. *GRIN*
Since i have four kids it is difficult if not impossible to get time to meditate or for that matter get quiet time at all.
So I have found a few things that can be done with everyone and has also taught my children to relax.
1.cloud watching
2.Dream game -we sit and take turns saying what our dreams are for the future.
3.coloring -for some reason even a an adult the simple act of sitting and coloring pictures (yes with crayons) just relaxes me and them .
4.Music fun-play a song that we all know and stop it in different places and see who can keep singing it
And the fail safe if nothing else works then we have an all out tickle fight my husband included, this gets rid of excess energy and we all end of laughing hysterically -stress gone.
