Hmmm....tricky one, but I am allowing myself to only concentrate on what I feel are 3 important ones to me - Twitter, Facebok and LInked In - no one really mentioned LinkedIn but I think it will be important for me as I try to make many more biz connections in 2009. Of course twittermoms is included in the twitter sphere. The way I see it FB keeps me connected to friends and fam, LI is for biz and Twitter is a mix of social and marketing.

i love twitter and i certainly won't be doing any less of it. facebook i reserve for IRL friends, and it still takes up too much of my time, but it's about the only social media i reserve for only fun/downtime. again, won't be doing any less of it. but will be trying not to do more.

I love twittermoms, facebook and linkedin.com. And, we just launched a Forum on www.MotherhoodLater.com for those who became a mom at age 35+. So I'm spending time there too.

You know, part of my job is to keep up with all the cool stuff out there, but I really only use a few things for myself. So, since you asked... :D

1. Twitter - of course. This one is a constant, so outlook for 09 is continued addiction.
2. Facebook - I use this one for keeping up with my friends and family. I find that my only free time is usually too late in the day to actually get on the phone with anyone, so this has to do. :)
3. Flickr - continued love affair... one of my resolutions was to take more photos this year, so I'll be spending more time on Flickr, I'm sure.
4. zeaLOG - where I keep track of all the other stuff I do, like commute time, weight, exercise, movies I watch. That one is constant and only increasing.

I am cutting back on MySpace (too much spam) as everyone I know has a facebook and uses it often. I adore Twitter and hope it is around for a long time. I just got a Seesmic account and look forward to video commenting. I do need to find some time for flesh & blood friends as well as cyber friends...I seem to have lost a balance in 2008.

blessings,
Wendy

Dumped myspace last year. LOVE facebook! Just got into twittering, and I'm learning how to get more use out of it, especially when it comes to updating friends and family on my daughter's condition "on the go!"

Gave up MySpace in 2007. I don't have a Facebook account though I am told daily by friends that I should. I am focusing more on twitter, twittermoms and LinkedIn.

Oh man! Twittering is what is most accessible to me right now as I don't really get a chance to come to the computer too much now days (with my baby and all ;) ) She doesn't really like it when I sit still. I can twitter from my phone and read a selective (over 500 texts per day) few twitters that I get on my phone. I can sometimes, catch up on FB on my phone, but rarely.

In a dream world: I would be twittering more efficiently and actually participating :) Finally getting back to the loads of messages that I've gotten on FB and deepening those connections, and finally podcasting MORE MORE AND MORE!!! As that is my love.

We'll see how it works out. In summation ;) any social media participation I can do on my phone (usually while breastfeeding) is my plan of attack at this moment in time :D

I'm enjoying twitter, Facebook (now that I know more people on there), twittermoms, RUN, blogging, flickr, and several Yahoo unschooling groups both locally and nationally. Since we are home, I usually go on in the mornings, before the girls are up, while I enjoy a cuppa coffee! : )
