twitter moms: the influential moms network

Okay, call me silly or a non-techie but I have 1600 friends on Twitter and am wondering how to best follow the threads and stay connected to my followers. Is there some secret way to search for the updates from my followers that I am missing? What is the best way to keep up and connect with your followers information when there are so many. Help. My twitter address is http://twitter.com/MIA_REDRICK.

Hi Mia,
What a great problem to have! Try Tweetdeck or Tweetgrid. They will put columns on your desktop to organize your tweets. Hope this helps.

I absolutely LOVE Tweetdeck. I have a personal twitter as well as my vlogcast show, http://lipsticknlaundrytv.mevio.com/, has a twitter which has over 5,000 followers and I have no problem keeping up with Tweetdeck. I actually tweeted all those followers asking if there were other apps they liked better and the ones who answered all used tweetdeck, but that's just one app! good luck!

Tweetdeck is amazing... I can even connect with my facebook account and see the updates from there.

Oh Yeah! And I use tweetdeck as well however it doesn't update the story very well so I find myself going back to the twitter on the web for this project. Love Tweetdeck to check out all of you though=)

Tweetdeck organizes replies and DMs (direct messages), synchs with Facebook, shortens URLs, generates automatic twitpics, shrinks your tweets and allows easy searches. You can RT and Reply with one click ... I guarantee you will love it!

Hi Mia, I find the best way to stay connected with my followers is to tweet things that would be of value to them. In addition, I want some of my tweets to be personal enough so they can know who I am, (my sense of humor, what I am passionate about, what I like to do. Sometimes it is a helpful link. I tell people its about one relationship at a time. Go out there and comment on the posts of others that strike you.

I just started following you. please follow me back at http://twitter.com/kakief

I love tweetdeck, too. Couldn't imagine tweeting any other way. The column format keeps friends, groups, hashtags and searches organized. You'll love it. Another recommendation for using twitter is adding a social bubble tweet to greet your visitors. Visit http://www.bubbletweet.com to discover more. It's free and easy.
