Ok....I have to ask...Did he eat them?I found candy bars, still in the wrapper. My son said Oh Yea I put it there to freeze a little since its better that way LOL. Not sure why he didn't toss them in the freezer.
LOL!! It has to be my rings, though not strange, a great relief to find!
Friends and I were just tumbling around in the snow one day. I had taken my rings off because I couldn't get my gloves on right. Put them in my pocket and well, being 14, I forgot about them. And they were nice rings too.
That means you were meant to have those rings for a long time. Plus you have a story to share for years.
When I got home, I freaked and went back to the site where I was with my friends. No luck. I was so upset. Mom was too to say the least!
When the snow finally melted 2 months later, I went back and Lo and Behold....there they were, all of them in a little pile! I was SO happy! I still have them too, can't wear them because my fingers are a tad fatter than they were, but I always remember that time when I lost them when I look at them!
At least you didn't lock yourself out!! I tend to lose not just keys but anything! It takes me less than a minute to lose something I just put down.House keys! Apparently the snow shoveling I was doing had caused them to flip from my pocket into the snowbank, and (since I have a tendancy to lose my keys anyway) I never realized they were snowbound. Found them nice and cold the next spring!
