Hope things are going better for you both....that sounds pretty stressful. My husband usually does a great job but last year I was really unhappy with alot of decisions he'd made without me and (because of those decisions) we had no money when my birthday rolled around. But anything (even nothing) would've been better than what I got.
He wrote a nice card about how he was really sorry about how everything had gone down and that his present to me was that I was in charge now and he would just do whatever I told him.
A. Not possible.
B. Sounds to me like he just didn't want to deal with life and wanted me to be responsible for him.
C. I don't need another child.
I was pretty offended.
Well, I got some really ugly button-up-to-the-neck flannel nightgowns from my ex husband when he was cheating on me. Does that count? At the time, it didn't make sense. In retrospect...
Really smart advertising! Hysterical. My husband bought an elliptical machine one year about a month or so before Christmas. Christmas came and the presents were ok. When he saw I wasn't overjoyed, he reminded me he spent alot on the elliptical machine. I didn't even use it! He is the one who wanted it! It is funny, though. Guys seem to think, the more they spend the happier we'll be.
