What was the worst gift you ever got from your husband or boyfriend?

The worst gift I got was from my ex-boyfriend. I went out for weeks buying thoughtful and cute gifts. I gave him my wrapped presents, they were wonderful. I wait for him to come back from his bedroom closet he brings me some Jergens lotion and this caveman doll that when you lifted the "skirt" he had a p****. Are you serious????? I threw his gifts in his garbage and left...

Ouch...yeah, I'm not sure I would handle that well, either. I would assume it was a passive-aggressive comment on my weight or something. :)

A $2000 cashier's check. His logic was that I was too difficult to shop for so he would give me a universal gift card and I could get what I wanted. My pov was that he was too lazy to even put some thought into what I MIGHT have wanted, no snooping, no asking my friends, no thinking about my personality.
Turned out it was a pretty good gift afterall. He knew me better than I thought. I put it into CDs and let it accumulate. He appealed to the practical side of me. Though a tennis bracelet would have been desired.
