If you did get one, did you wish you could put him in the doghouse? If so watch this Ad promotion for JC Penny- it's hilarious. LOL!

Way to go Eleanor!!!!!

One year, my boyfriend at the time gave me a re-gifted purple polyester sweater vest that he retrieved from his mother's goodwill bag. I gave it back, knowing we were doomed. I broke up with him on Valentine's Day when the only thing I got from him was a phone call at 8:30 p.m. asking me to pick him up from somewhere on the outskirts of town. Lesson learned.

Broken - I hope in the end you realized that was the best gift he gave you?

well, he wasnt my DH because I am STILL single, but he was my boyfriend at the time - and this is what he got me for our 'first xmas together'. Matching nike jordan sneakers. OMG. Ok first of all, I do NOT wear sneakers, and second, I don't wear sneakers!!!

needless to say, we didn't last.

First of all, that ad is so hilarious!

I've had a number of terrible gifts. Worst was probably a bunch of camping gear (we don't camp).

I give him a list every year, including where to find the items. He ignores it. I've learned to shop for myself.

Earlier I posted my worst gift from my boyfriend at the time. It was many many years ago.If I think about it now, it was a great gift after all, because I broke up with him before he could hurt me really.

And here goes an other "worst turned to best " :
The "worst "gift from my husband was a box of Tylenol on the Christmas tree.First I thought it is a bad private joke -I'll not explain -I was hurt. And top of that he was just smiling and said: Why don't you open it? I sad , It would not help me now.
Two days later I finally opened the box.And there was a beautiful diamond heart necklace!!!!

Glad to hear he is doing better. I have a friend who also got a waffle iron, she cried when she got it, but years later she still uses it and has to admit she likes it? Do you think sometimes they know us better then we know ourselves?

I posted this ad on my site as well. I didn't get any comments but glad to see it's a hit here. My neighbors thought it was very funny as well. My husband is actually a pretty good gift giver although sometimes he spends more than I want him to ( yeah, I know big problem).

the worst gift was a little watch for my thumb; my husband was really excited about it (bought it in Finland), but it just never was comfortable; I was hoping for a different kind of ring at the time... :) (don't tell him that I didn't like it)

You have to post a picture of the Thumb Watch!
