What Was Your Favorite Soap Opera When You Were A Teenager?

I watched my parents' favorite soap "All My Children" when I was around 13. I would tape the episodes to watch when I got home. I quit watching it around 8 years ago, but not before getting my younger sister hooked. It just stopped appealing to me.

I'd run home from school to catch General Hospital. I liked the Luke and Laura storyline, but I LOVED Rick Springfield as Dr. Noah Drake. I also watched All My Children, The Edge of Night and Another World. But now I never watch any of them.

My favorite soap when I was growing up was Days of Our Lives. I watched it everyday and when the time changed, my mom set up the VCR to record so I could watch when I was home from school. I started watching Days of Our Lives with my grandma, she was a fan too!

Recently I had surgery and have had alot of recovery & rest time, I've watched Days of Our Lives a few times and can't believe that so many characters are still there, I've been out of high school for 18 years!!! LOL.

Days of Our Lives.
My grandmother used to watch it when she babysat us when I was about 4 years old. I watched all during school and college. I still put it on in the background when I'm working from home.

When I was a teen I used to watch Young and the Restless and when did Passions come out? I watched that one for a minute. Once I was grown I started back watching Y&R and Guiding Light. Those are the two that I watch these days!

It was General Hospital "for sure". I don't think I have watched a soap opera SINCE I was a teenager. Back then (in the early to mid 80's) we did not have so many choices! No internet, no wii! Out in NM cable was just getting run to some neighborhoods etc so I remember anytime we were on break for Christmas or summer all my friends and I would gather to watch the soaps!

I loved watching Greg and Jenny and then that witch Liza trying to break them up. Then there was Young and Restless. Victor and Nikki and Ashley.

I use to watch Guiding Light. I believe it had been my mom's soap opera. No one in my family watches soap operas anymore though.

I watched young and the restless years ago. I use to have my husband tape it when I was at work vhs and stay up late to watch it because he hated it, at least he would tape it.
