Was it General Hospital, The Young and the Restless or Days of Our Lives? Did you grow up watching your mom's soap opera like me? Maybe you still watch them today! Which ones were your favorites?

Oh yeah, Scorpio means a lot to me! I loved General Hospital and when I was a stay home mom, I also watched One Life to Live!

After I went back to work full time and had two kids, I just didn't make the time to stay tuned in to the soaps. Now, I have other shows that I watch...*sigh*

Totally and ONLY General Hospital! I grew up watching it with my mom as a kid and I still watch it today. Yeah, it's still the same stories, but there's something comforting about that whole childhood memory thing. Plus, it's my only "mommy time" in a day full of home school, sidejobs and general insanity!

I would set the VCR and tape General Hospital every day. All my girlfriends would come over and watch it. Now I only watch TV when kids are asleep. Gray's Anatomy, Dep Housewives, House, Bones...

DAYS! Definitely. No more though. I just can't handle it at all anymore.

General Hospital ~ Luke & Laura's wedding NOT to be missed.

Saw Rick Springfield in concert at our local amphitheatre a couple years ago. He sang the last song shirtless and it thankfully brought back such wonderful memories. That guy's body is ridiculous for a nearly 60 year old...then, again, so is his ego! But, Hey...that's okay.

My favorite soap opera is Y&R and I am the third generation to watch! Even my Grandpa watched with my Grandma in Canada. And they are lucky - they get it twice a day. Today's edition at the normal time and tomorrow's episode later in the afternoon! I am still catching it from time to time - I auto tape it on the DVR and it deletes if I don't watch it that day. I will be a very sad camper if Victor Newman ever leaves! My college roommates watched the same network so we were all in sync. It's like a distant relative network. I feel better when I see them every once in awhile! I would love to see their studio in NY. Someday!
