I connect on Facebook with people who went to school with me and most of them only speak Spanish (PR) I'm happy to reconnect with them but the language thing sometimes gets the best of me. My culture, life and thoughts are mostly in English and sometimes is hard to share with them what really moves me, like politics, culture, Armed forces, children, etc because most of them live in a different World than me or can't comprehend why my life is so different. So I'm 50-50...50 Facebook, 50 Twittermoms!; ▶ Reply to This

I've been on FB for months now and it can be a fun tool for staying in touch with long-distance friends, but it's certainly not the social networking guru that Twitter is. The automated feeding makes it much more efficient (ie. having Twitter feed into my Facebook updates).and helps me avoid getting "sucked in" to the Facebook brain candy void...
