Twitter is ideal for connecting with people you don't necessarily know. You may get to know them through Twitter and eventually offline, but the connection is made despite not knowing the person personally. I also think Twitter is best for business use.; ▶ Reply to This

Facebook is the connector to old friends, I agree! I love it, but the Twitter world is great too!

get in "touch" with her twitterside! I would have to say Twitter is "hotter" simply because it is just us ladies!
I am guessing that Facebook is for all genders, but we ladies relate to each other in ways the guys just "don't get it"! (grin) When I found Twitter, I knew I had found a "home"!

Twitter is a great way to get little tidbits and links out there to a large group. Facebook is a fun way to stay connected with family, friends, and colleagues. I enjoy them both but they sometimes distract me and keep me from writing as much as I should (after all, I'm a full-time writer). On those days, I have to stay offline while I work to keep myself focused. So many online toys, so little time to use them! ;=); ▶ Reply to This

I too believe they serve me differently. Facebook is definatley like an ongoing life/class reunion and I find that very satisfying. Twitter (newbie) moves at warp speed and is closer to entering a huge room with a bunch of strangers and you are trying to figure out A.) what is all the hub bub about and B.) getting to know the clever people of interest and C.) obtaining the 411 on just about anything.
