What's Hotter: Twitter or Facebook?

The numbers say that Facebook has more users, but I think this is just the beginning for Twitter. Give it 6 months and I think it will have caught up to FB by then. People are just now realizing what a great tool it is for connecting. I'm glad Google didn't buy them out yet.

I think they are both hot but for different reasons. Facebook is great for connecting with people you know personally - friends and family. Twitter is ideal for connecting with people you don't necessarily know. You may get to know them through Twitter and eventually offline, but the connection is made despite not knowing the person personally. I also think Twitter is best for business use.

I think social media is the wave of the future! I'm slowly getting connected to twitter moms. We need to hire interns just to run our social networks.

Facebook is the connector to old friends, I agree! I love it, but the Twitter world is great too!

I'm new to Twitter, but trying to figure it out! I think I'd be lost without Facebook as the family and friends are so spread out nowadays!

I love twitter, but a lot of my friends are on facebook! So I don't know if I can choose. Personally, I visit twitter more than facebook, but I don't want to lose contact with my buddies on facebook!

I have to admit that I don't do facebook. I love twitter and it has definitely helped my sales and marketing!!! It is quick and easy. Perfect for someone that does not have a lot of time.

Well, I am new to Twitter, and have a Facebook page, so this 50something gramma is really trying to
get in "touch" with her twitterside! I would have to say Twitter is "hotter" simply because it is just us ladies!
I am guessing that Facebook is for all genders, but we ladies relate to each other in ways the guys just "don't get it"! (grin) When I found Twitter, I knew I had found a "home"!

I use them both, but they serve different purposes for me. Twitter is a great way to get little tidbits and links out there to a large group. Facebook is a fun way to stay connected with family, friends, and colleagues. I enjoy them both but they sometimes distract me and keep me from writing as much as I should (after all, I'm a full-time writer). On those days, I have to stay offline while I work to keep myself focused. So many online toys, so little time to use them! ;=)
