Will a scary economy change the way you celebrate Halloween?

It may be a little early to think about ghosts and goblins, but I would love to know what you think .

Does the recession have you re-thinking your usual halloween customs?

Will you cancel your annual party, make a costume not buy it, or cut back on the candy for trick-or-treaters?

Or will it be business as usually?

I love this question, cause it is 111 (that's degrees) here in Phoenix and thinking forward to Halloween made my morning thanks!

We will have an annual drive-way party, wish you could come:). Friends will bring food we'll supply drinks and dancing. We'll use old costumes or trade with friends. We will buy our children's candy back for 5 cents a piece and throw most of it away, some candy is fine a years worth is too much.

I will splurge and buy 1-2 magazines like Cookie, Real Simple or BHG 'cause I adore the pictures and I will make some goofy cupcake or decorate the table or something like that for relaxation. Budget-minded but still having fun.

Let's all help Loretta plan her party! That sounds really fun:). Lynne

Business as usual here!! It's such a fun holiday for the kids. We have fun decorating, cutting pumpkins, and walking around the neighborhood with a big group of friends. I have 3 boys so just the oldest get a new costume and the rest are hand me downs form big brother. They are only 1,3, and 5. I will enjoy it will I can, Im sure they will change their minds soon enough.
