Will you be sending out Christmas cards this year?

With Christmas fast upon us, will you be sending out Christmas cards? I always find them to be a waste on so many levels: time and supplies, yet I've sent them out in the past. What are your thoughts? Do you enjoy receiving them?

I love receiving Christmas cards, especially if there's a handwritten note included. This is the only time of year that I keep in touch with many of my family and friends, and I enjoy hearing about their year.

Yes! I love sending and receiving them.
Just this year, I took all my old photo cards and scrap booked them. I have enjoyed looking over the pictures from the last 9 years and seeing how everyone has grown!

Yes, I believe I will be sending out cards - I think people like receiving something handwritten.

We will send a photo card. I think family and distant friends like to see how our family is growing. I know I like receiving photo cards for that very reason!

I will be sending out my Christmas letter. It's an important tradition to me.
However--I will not be sending out a photo card this year. I'd like to--but it's just too much. :(

I definitely agree with the enjoyment of receiving pictures from our family and friends, but once I've read the card, I never know what to do with it. In the past I've lined them up on the mantle, then toss them into recycling. Does anyone have any interesting ideas on how to display their holiday cards?

hi there ! Although it is fun receiving them I found that after 1 week you throw them in the bin anyway.
Sending them is very expensive. Not only buying the cards or making them yourselves but the mailexpenses are extreme.
Therefore, I prefer to make some nice christmas cards with my cardmaking application for email from apple.
This is a lot of fun, I insert some nice pics from the kids and everybody is happy !

I will be sending cards. My extended family is all over and this is a great way to keep up with the family. I send a note and recent picture of the children with my holiday cards.

Good question! I always start off thinking I will send Christmas cards, but usually end up not! The time and cost does make it difficult, though I admit I love getting cards. So I guess my answer is I don't know, but probably not. Sigh.

We faithfully send ours out the first week of December. We've done photo cards every year since our son was born 6 years ago. We'll be doing another one this year. We enjoy receiving them as well.
I got a head start addressing our cards this year. I'm nearly done!

I love getting cards. I especially love anything with a photo. We always send out one with a family photo or a picture of the boys. When they come in the mail, I hang them around a doorway. By the time Christmas comes we have a full arch of color over the door.

it would be more fun for my friends and family and then they can do it too, so it's like
