Wordpress & Prosense Template Help

Can anyone help me. I know nothing about wordpress. But I'm wanting to start a wordpress blog and use adsense. I read some good review about the Prosense template for wordpress. So I need to know what steps to get this up and going.

Caroline Middlebrook has a very good "how to" guide on setting up wordpress for the first time.
In case you are not familiar with her name, she started by doing Ed Dale's Thirty Day Challenge. She now has her own blog, and is pretty successful from what I hear.

I may be able to help you with some things. Are you just starting, or do you have your blog up and are wondering how to set up adsense?

I'm just starting, I have a good bit of content ready and saved. I have a few websites but have little to no knowledge of cpanel and no experience with wordpress. I do have a hostgator account
I'm assuming if I wanted to use the ProSense template, I would need to upload the template through my host. I really don't know how to go about this.
