Just in time for the holiday eating season, someone asked me this question: Would you rather be skinny or rich? I thought I'd see what the moms here thought...

RICH!!!!! Assuming by rich you mean monetarily. I agree with many of the other posters...if I were rich, I could by skinny (and in some cases, good health) any day of the week for myself, family, friends and friends I don't know yet. I've been poor, couldn't afford health care, nutritious foods, etc. What good is being skinny if you're poor? And who said you can't be rich and be a socially conscious, loving and moral person? Yep, I vote for RICH!!!

Rich for sure. But I would need to be healthy otherwise all the money in the world means nothing.

RICH!!!

Skinny is a matter of perception anyway :)

Definitely rich. With the money you can afford help to get skinny.

it's supposedly easier to become rich when you're skinnier (more attractive) . . . but I guess I rather be rich so I can hire someone to tell me I'm skinny!

I'd rather be disgusted with this question. WTF, y'all? Are these goals we want to give our children?

I must admit. I'd rather be rich; if I were... I'd have more time for me, and fitness. If I could fitness more, I could achieve skinniness on my own...
