Just in time for the holiday eating season, someone asked me this question: Would you rather be skinny or rich? I thought I'd see what the moms here thought...
i could care less about being skinny. i like me just the way i am.
i don't want to be rich either. some people having a lot of money while others literally freeze on the streets seems very wrong to me. if i ended up rich i would give it all away. call me a socialist, i don't care. :)
To be honest with you I would rather be neither. I would like to be healthier.
Money(Being Rich is not what I need or want).
To be Debt Free yes but just to be Rich then no.
It depends how you define rich, I think. Wealthy comes in many forms, and in many ways, I feel rich every day, independent of my bank account balances. So I guess never having to worry about my weight permanently might be my preference- money can become a full time job, if you believe those ladies on the Housewives of (New York, Atlanta, Orange County) - I am not sure any of them seems really happy.
I would rather be "skinny" and healthy. $$$ can't buy everything. I have a wonderful husband, healthy children, a roof over my head, food in my tummy. I'm comfortable. I don't need fancy ($$) things, expensive cars or exotic vacations. I can have just as much fun taking my kids to a local park (free) as I could taking them to the Bahamas.
If I was "skinny" and healthy I could enjoy my kids, and some day grandkids, longer because I would live longer and not die from overweight health issues.
Definitely rich! I have been fat most of my adult life. I am use to it. I am use to being poor too, but the stress associated with not having enough money to meet basic needs is definitely a stress I would love to get rid of!
rich so I didnt have to worry so about where money was coming from all the time and I believe in sharing the wealth with those who are really down and out.....
skinny is always good but it would be fun to be rick look at Oprah she is not skinny and has more money that ????
she has a great house, cooks, hair and makeup people...think of the things you could do
Definitely skinny. We've had years with lots of extra money and we've given that up to run our video podcasting business and we've found that money doesn't do all that much for us. Being thin and feeling light and healthy is so much better. =)
I am not heavy, but could use some toning instruction..I'll take rich. I'd pay off our house and put money aside for my children's education, then the bills. I'd SO do the rich. You can always work and pay (NOT surgery) for toned. Maybe then I could find a good stylest to do my hair.
