Wrinkle Creams worth it or waste of money?

  • Rating: 5 after 3 votes
I just spent another $27.00 on wrinkle cream. This time Avon. I've used Oil of Olay, Loreal, Clinque, etc...

One brand better than another or just a plain waste of money?

I know I can't cheat Mother Nature and Father Time, and I certainly can't afford Dr.s Nip and Tuck, but just wanting to hear from anybody who thinks they have benefited from over the counter topical wonders!

Your thoughts?

Goodness, I guess this is a big topic. Found this article on the front cover of Yahoo today:

Those creams are too expensive for what they claim to do. I think you can find creams that are just as good without the heavy price tag. Not to mention that for the cost of most of those creams (at reg. retail price) you can get a mini face lift, botox, or other cosmetic procedure done that will give instant results and last a lot longer than those creams.

Depending on what you buy, I personally don't think they are a waste of money at all. I don't particularly like Avon, but that's just my opinion. I'm an esthetician and work with skin for a living. Wrinkle creams are thicker, which help fill wrinkles and smooth them out over time. Some ingredients to look for are glucosomine, hyaluraunic acid, and collagen. You also want to make sure they are full of Vitamins A & E. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Yes, you can spend a lot of money on products that don't do what they claim. Or... you can do what my girlfriend did. http://budurl.com/defyage

Check out Marie Veronique Organics, a new organic skincare line that I LOVE. I've used it all summer and love the results. Remember what goes on your skin, goes in your blood stream. So many of us worry about eating organic then we rub toxic chemicals all over our skin (the body's largest organ). See why the Environmental Working Group lists Marie Veronique Organics at the top of their list for safe skincare and sunscreen.
