Well, the hormonal funk is gone today. I can tell because I don't feel like I have a ball of lead weight in the pit of my abdomen. God, the past few days have been hell!
Thanks for the support and advice. I would try the Yaz pill, but since I am so over sensitive to the pill in general, my doctor doesn't recommend it.
I going to hit the vitamin store for the PMS Control stuff and see if that helps me out next time.
Happy Tax Day to All!!
You should come to my house. Between my perimenopausal hormones and my son's teenage hormones, I'm not sure which one of us is grouchier. However, I'm pretty sure he's not getting teary-eyed at the drop of a hat like I do at times.
That was me a few years ago after having 2 kids. Now I take "all natural" pills that really work from the Vitamin Shoppe called PMS Control. There are other similar ones too. I've taken a couple of different types and they all seem to work well. I like this one because you don't have to take it daily. They say to take about 3-5 days before. I just take a guess when I know I'm due soon. I have not noticed any side effects at all. Also, watch your diet. I truly believe that a good diet and exercise helps. I seem to have a better month when I'm eating well (protein) and getting some exercise.
By the way, I'm not a nutritionist and I don't make anything off PMS Control or any other product, I just swear by it! :) Here's the link. If it doesn't work, just search for PMS and you'll get a couple of pages of options.
