Well The Lord just loves to play jokes on me...My sales have been great...I have such a peace...I think the Lord just wants to show me He has it under control and wants to give me a day off. Romans 8:28

It is funny we have been talking about faith...and my job just took one day a week from me due to the economy. See my blog on Lazboy- Anyway- I believe God sent me to Lazboy and I am asking all of you to pray that my sales don't go down but up during this time. I can still come in, I just can't punch in or take customers that come in the door unless they ask for me. -- I believe this is the hand of the Lord and I am going to street sell during this time to gather clientelle for my company. I will post here and let everyone know what God is doing...please feel free to post your testimonies here too about what you are believing God to do ... They overcame by the blood of the lamb and the WORD of THEIR TESTIMONY and they loved not their lives unto the death. Rev. 12:11..
I did cry and feel bad at first, but it was pride...I believe...so as I humble myself the Lord will raise me up. Please pray that this is a wonderful testimony to everyone at Lazboy and many accept Christ as they see the hand of the Lord move!

HI everyone,

I love the idea of this group. I travel A LOT and joining a women's Bible study that I have to physcially be at is near impossible for me. I look forward to starting this journey with you all.

I'm Catt....I'm so excited to see this group...My only New Year's resolution is to read the bible in a year. check out my blog and follow my journey of returning to the church!!

I wanted to encourage all of us to start reading the Bible through in a year together. You can read the entire bible through in 80 hours at a third grade reading level.
This is how I read my bible...it just works for me...
I read old testament, New at the same time...
I read from the front to back in both and meet in middle when done..
example my daily reading will be
Matt 1
Malachi1
Gen1
Rev1
I will read as much as I can and pray and meditate on the verses.

It just works for me...I have tried other ways but this works for me...I also carry a sheet of paper in my bible and may start any book anytime and when I read that book I just check it off.
Let's discuss what we have read here...and Yes you can get started now to do a jump start on the New year :)

I am so looking forward to this group! I need to study the word. I feel so good when I do but I always manage to let life get in the way and God gets put on my "to do" list. I pray that 2009 is a year of major spiritual growth for all of us!
