After reading Ruthie's comments about faith I started thinking about other fruits of the Spirit.(Gal 5:22-23) So my question is what fruit of Spirit are you most thankful for? I am most thankful for peace. I think it is sometimes underrated. I think at this time of the year and in America's current state of affairs it is good to have peace.

Faith is reaching forward and bringing it to you. Sounds funny but that's one way of explaining it. To increase your faith you must increase your hearing of the Word
read the bible out loud listen to christian television, spend your time with christian friends talking about the good testimonies of what God has done. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. In hebrews it speaks of a rest that awaits the people of God...that is a rest in knowing in complete peace of mind (the rest) that God is working on it, doing the work. ... Without faith it is impossible to please God. Increase your intake of the Word of God. Plan to do Exploits for him with 2009 fastly approaching make it your goal not to just be a part of our bible study but to reach out and touch people in your area and to train and teach them the Word of God...like we train our children when opportunities come start speaking the Word to people. You are the light where ever you are...you are in a sense the pastor of that area and those people. train them to love God and to get saved, Go in Faith that God is going to give you fruits for your labor.
Let's make 2009 a year of exploits...doing great things for Jesus. Let Him increase and us decrease. Let's share the Word of God - faith comes by hearing the word of God...but how can they hear without a preacher? Open your mouth wide and share the gospel this year. :) Pretend (why pretend?) you are a missionary to all those around you.

The Bible speaks about faith without works being dead...
We must believe God and act...
example...You want a new house...
go out and get some real estate guides...call a realtor to look at a few...
start the ball rolling...if you feel that God puts the breaks on just stop..
Keep in prayer and go through the doors and pray as you go...The
promises are obtained through Faith and PATIENCE
