Hi Leora,

I have used Ghost with Vista and had no problems with it at all. If you're looking for something that works just as well, but is free (free is always good!), then I can also recommend FOG. You can find it here: http://www.fogproject.org/ I'm not associated with it in any way, I've just used it and liked it a lot. :-)

I enjoy the challenge of using technology in business development and marketing in my new business, a new direct selling skincare company launched by the famous dermatologists who created Proactiv. I love the products and sharing the gift of beautiful skin with others. Looking forward to connecting with all the wonderful Work At Home Moms here. We're an industrious crew!

Best Regards,

I am investigating backup software for pcs with Vista Home Edition. Little did I know that Vista Home Edition does not include the backup software that the Business one has. I looked at reviews on Amazon and both Ghost and Acronis are reviewed, but both suggest problems with restore. Has anyone used Ghost or Acronis on Vista?

This is one of the rare times I wish I wasn’t an Intel employee so I could take part in all of these contests Intel is currently running. I did post in the contest area, but I thought I’d pass along since these all have either tech questions or tech prizes which would be right up the techmama alley. Below are the links where you can find how to enter and the rules for each contest. Yes! You can enter them all, unless like me you are an Intel employee.

What’s Inside You – could win a laptop, cash and Amazon gift card

Guess the number of Transistors – win $500 Amazon gift card

Could win Centrino 2 Notebook for talking about your travel with your laptop

Die hard Star Trek fans could win Centrino 2 based Lenovo system with their knowledge

Wow, I just joined and am privileged to be amidst a group of tecky geeky moms! :) Earlier there was some tweets regarding using our phone for the internet and emails. I have a T-Mobile DASH...which you can only get from T-Mobile. I love it! Why? It has a full key board for texting, which I do tons with my high school volleyball players and youth ministry kids...it has full internet capability and sync's with my computers Microsoft Outlook so I have all my contacts and calendar from my PC in my phone. That's huge for my business! The best part is....IT acts as a MODEM for my laptop. I don't need a card or other device to connect to the internet. The cost for unlimited internet and emails $19.99/mo....PRICELESS! :)

I need someone to re-do my online store! My web designer is good at flash - but not so good at online shopping... so - does anyone have experience designing online stores? I need to hire someone - if you are CAPABLE and interested, (or know someone who is) send me some samples of what you've done! Would love to do this SOON! Here's my site - but don't send me comments through the feedback there, my designer still gets those and I am not ready to tell him I am shopping around yet! http://www.pickled-tink.com THANKS!
