@Barbie I've got an MDA Vario on t-mobile and I do occasionally use the wifi on it (mainly for twitter because texts to it are not included in my free minutes and I'm a cheapskate *grin*) I'm waiting a few months to see what else people have to say about the G1 then I may have to upgrade..

I definitely do! I twitter my fuel usage to fuelfrog and login into fuelly and post it there too. I wouldn't use both except that fuelly doesn't integrate with Twitter yet-however, according to someone I emailed it is definitely in the works! I have a Blackberry and have Google apps downloaded that I use. Mostly, I use Google maps for my gps needs - so far, it has served me well. Even though, my Curve has gps built in, I use it with a gps receiver and find it to be more accurate. I wouldn't want to use it for a trip across the country, but it is fine for local searches (Starbucks :0)) and navigation. Also, gotta have my Digg fix too!

I'd love to use my phone for the internet, but haven't upgraded to a fancy phone yet! Maybe in 2009 if all goes well financially.

Question for all TechMoms - do you use the internet on your phone? Do you use it to look up things to do and places to go?

Hello all! Good to be here. Most who know me call me geeky and techy. I was a big Star Trek fan (until the kids came along) if that tells you anything. I love tools and gadgets and love to use them. Keeping them as a tool and not letting them take over my life is a daily challenge. Feel free to drop me a question or line anytime.

Hi moms! I love gadgets (still waiting for my iPhone although hubby already has his) but I failed a programming summer course I sampled one summer in high school. I can fool around with simple html but php and xml and other alphabet soup languages make me dizzy.

On my Mom Gift Store site I am profiling moms by personality. One profile will be tech moms.

Please let me know what your favorite tech gadgets are and what are the techie items on your wish list. If you have any reviews you would like to share with me as a guest blogger on my store blog that would be great too.

Hi, all. I'm new to twittermoms and thrilled to be here. I'm a long time techie. I grew up programming in a time when pretty much no one else even had computers. Was the first person to take 4 years of computer classes in my high school - they had to create classes for me each year. =} I started online (pre-Web) in 1989. Now, my programming days are in my past, but I'm still a gadget freak. Have a new Blackberry, which I love, and an iPod Touch I won at BlogHer Boston a couple of weeks ago. I'm also the Family Computing Guide at About.com. It's a fantastic job for me. Not only do I get to write about things I enjoy, but I get a ton of cool review items to play with. Can't wait to get to know you all better!

Hi, I am fairly new here and just signed up for techmamas. I was searching for a group like this!! I am definitely a techjunky!! Although I have no formal training, I have always loved computer's and gadgets! I am self taught. I have an Iphone that I can't live with out!! I love it!! Was excited to see an iphone section in the discussions!!
