Right now I'm reading The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity by Catherine Ponder. It's an amazing book on how to create the life you want and being prosperous. It was written back in the 70's but goes right along with The Secret and the Law of Attraction.

What are you reading?

I've just finished Poisonwood Bible (loved it till the end)and am now reading The Elegance of the Hedgehog (hard to get into but now don't want to put it down)and The Magic Years (soooo interesting)as well as rereading What Really Matters for Struggling Readers. Three Cups of Tea, Twilight, and a book on algebraic thinking are next up! I'm also intrigued by Gladwell's Outliers, as I've read his others.

This sounds interesting! I wonder if you'd be interested in Outliers? I haven't read it yet myself, but have heard so much about it.

I'm reading The Power of Persuasion - How We're Bought and Sold. It's a really mind blowing book about how social psychologists and anthropologists monitor our behaviors to help marketing companies get us to buy things.

I love to read ANYTHING.....Right now, I just finished "Beautiful Boy" by David Sheff about his journey through his oldest son's drug addiction. What a powerful book! This parent did everything "right" and still had an addicted child. Now I am reading 2 books. First "Tweak" by Nic Sheff , this is David Sheff's (Beautiful Boy), son's account of his addiction to crystal meth and his side of the addiction process. So far, it is incredible. The other book I am currently reading is called "Still Alice" by Lisa Genova. This story is about a highly renowned Harvard professor of linguistics who develops early onset Altzheimers at 50 years old. So far, so incredible to!! I truly love reading anything except "paperback romances." I am especially interested in biographies, autobiographies, etc. "Who moved my cheese?" and "Who moved my cheese for teens" are back again, if you haven't read either of these, I highly recommend them. they deal with dealing with change in one's life. Must reads to!! - Tracy

I just finished reading Susan E. Isaacs book Angry Conversations with God which would fall into the Christian Living book genre. Funny read on such a serious topic as a walk with God.

I'm very slowly reading The Secret Life of Bees. I just finished reading the Twilight Saga and The Host by Stephenie Meyer. All of them were very good. My easy "beach reads" for this year were The Choice by Nicholas Sparks and Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas by James Patterson. I enjoyed them as well.

I have a long list of books waiting for me. Unfortunately, I'll only have time to read MBA textbooks until I graduate in March.

I read "The Secret Life of Bees" a few years ago. I agree, at first it was a really slow read. Hang in there, though. It picks up and gets amazingly good. By the end, I cried because there were no more pages!!
