I have run out of books to read....help me find something..I just finished the World of the Lupi series 1-4 by Eileen Wilks. This past year I have read all up to the the latest books in these series: Charlaine Harris Sookie Stackhouse series, her Harper Connelly series, JD Robb Eve Dallas series, Kim Harrison the Hollows series, Laurell K Hamilton's Anita Blake & Merry Gentry series', Stephenie Meyers Twilight series (I AM SO NOT A FAN). I am now looking for a new series to get into...any suggestions? I also read the Harry Potter books, Scott Westerfield's Uglies series, Diana Duane Young Wizard's series, Holly Black's Septimus series and Modern Tale of Faerie with my older kids....I am a horror, sci-fi, fantasy junkie who loves romance novels contemporary & historical. My favorite authors are the above listed as well as Jennifer Crusie, Janet Evanovich, Diane Mott Davidson, G.A McKevitt, Hannah Howell, Catherine Coulter, Michael Connelly, Faye & Jonathon Kellerman, James Patterson, J. A. Jance, Jayne Castle Jayne Krentz Amanda Quick, Jude Devereaux, Nora Roberts, Stephen King...

These should give you some ideas of types of books and authors that I like. Anyone have something to suggest?

one of my all time favorite is Abduction by Robin Cook, just an amazing story! I also like Iris Johanssen Books, anyone will do. If you like action and mystery then The Good Guy but Dean Koontz is a really good read. An old favorite is Melody by Caroline B. Cooney and I js read Mouth to Mouth by Michael Kimble, I opened this book js by chance because it had been laying in my house for about a yr, the moment i opened it, i didn't put ti down until 14hrs later when i finished it! js awesome!

The Odd Thomas series by Dean Koontz is very good. I've also heard that they have started a graphic novel series with the same character."

I agree that this is a great series to read!

One of my top ten books of all-time is a free download until April 15 at TheBeeisFree.com--The Beekeeper's Apprentice by Laurie R. King. Run, do not walk, to download this--it's a huge treat.

I'll also second the recommendation for The Book Thief--that one really got me where I live.

Ditto on The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. My favorite!

I read a lot of young adult books (some of the best)
THE HOST by Stephanie Meyer feels like it was written by a different author. It was a great read!
Susan Beth Pfeffer's LIFE AS WE KNEW IT was excellent. I have but haven't read the sequel THE DEAD AND THE GONE.

THE LACE READER by Brunonia Barry
THE ADORATION OF JENNA FOX Mary E. Pearson
Wake and Fade by Lisa McMann

Adult:
Anything by Jodi Piccoult!
Harlan Coban (Anything without Myron Bolitar character series...not that they are bad. I am just not interested in them)
Greg Iles! Read them in order because many of the characters overlap as characters in other books. The "Sleep" books are my all time favorite. BLOOD MEMORY was intense!

A few others that I don't remember the author's offhand:
Land of a Hundred Wonders
A Certain Slant of Light
LOVE WALKED IN

A new author I like (more mass market mystery/thriller style) Mariah Stewart...she had a few series of 3 or 4 books in each. Another MM author w/ series Kay Hooper.

Looking forward to trying some of these new recommended authors!

I would recommend The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. A grown-up Harry Potter.
