How awesome to be connected with others who love books as much as I do!!! I have three books going right now. It is 10:30pm and I am getting ready to go snuggle under the covers and read some more. My husband always laughs that I get so into books. I would rather read than do A LOT of other things. :)

Hi everyone!
I just looked at the "how many books are you reading at the same time" thread and it made me smile - I surf the internet, the tv and I just realised I'm the same with books, one in each room! And I don't always start at the beginning either, terrible!
I sell books too, I've a home business selling Usborne books, which is great fun. I get free books for my children, great commission and incentives, and I'm building a team all over the UK and mainland Europe. If you want to join me, take a look at my website www.usborneonline.org/alisonsbooks or check out alisonsbooks on twitter.
I have to decide between reading Barack Obama's book or Hannah Hauxwell's book next. My Dad gave me the latter, the story of a lady who managed a remote farm in the English Dales all by herself...
Happy reading!

I must say I like reading and holding the book it gives you the sense you are getting to know the characters. E books also have their advantages though I guess for me if I want to red a book that is fiction I would read and touch it but if I wanted an informational book then an e book would be good.
Have any of you ever read any Bryce Courtneay he is an Australian authour who has written lots of good books. The most recent one I have read is called The permisson Tree and the sequel Fishing for Stars excellcent books I recomend them

Not really but thank you for the explanation. I'm still old fashioned and prefer to touch my books.

Hi ladies - are you a fan of Amy Tan? You might recall her work in "The Joy Luck Club" - and if so, you can win a free copy of "The Opposite of "Fate!"

Hi, You may have to bare with me here, because in actual fact I'm quite a slow reader!! However, I love anything spooky or scary, my favourite author is the British thriller writer James Herbert. I have read most of his novels. I also love Dan Brown. I'm considering reading 'The Secret', has anyone read it, it is a good book and what's it about (basically). Thanks for the info, look forward to hearing from someone soon.

Hi there! I just joined. I'm currently reading every novel on Random House's Top 100 novels of the century! Currently I'm working on Brideshead Revisited! It's a nice change of pace from Catcher in the Rye!
