All mother had to do or still does it start humming Amazing Grace it was so scary the dog would even tuck his tail and go upstairs. lol

But her best saying was you must have forgot who I am lol

I would say my mother was more like the wait until we get home. She didn't have a saying she would just give you that look and you knew she meant business. lol

My mother was all of the above except, "'I'm telling your daddy", (she raised us 4 on her own!) and "wait til we get home", (she'd slap me down on the spot. lol), Tough love is the best love....I see that now

My mom was all of these...lol. Sometimes I thought she was the devil in hell and other times I thought she was an angel. But most times I thought she was the devil...rotflmao! Especially when she just "knew" stuff that she wasn't even around for.

An hour later

me-"mom, can I go to the mall"
mom- 'We'll see"
me-"but the mall is gonna close soon"
mom- "I said we'll see"
