My 2 1/2 year old is allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, eggs and garlic and also has asthma. She just started pre-school and this is my first real exposure to other people feeding her when I'm not around. Scary!

Since being diagnosed, we haven't had any major problems - just rash breakouts occasionally which have been handled with Benedryl.

My 21 month old son is allergic to peanuts, treenuts, eggs, dairy, potatoes, soy, turkey, beef and pork.
we have a breakout about once or twice a week, even after i wipe down everything, wash hands and all that good stuff. most of the time we dont have any clue what caused the breakout. its very scary and frustrating at the same time.

I have a daughter who is allergic to sulfur drugs and a son who is allergic to dairy and eggs. I'm hoping he'll out grow them, so it's always encouraging to ear of kids who do!

My 19 month old is allergic to eggs, peanuts, dogs and dust mites. We have had a couple incidents when he accidentally got a bit of egg on him and he has broken out in hives and cries and itches constantly so we give him benadryl. I carry an Epi pen all the time because I don't know what peanuts would do to him. He is sensitive to dogs saliava, not the hair from what I can tell. And anytime he plays on the floor and I haven't vaccumed he gets really itchy. This also effects his excema which has been a constant uphill battle, from steroid creams to antibiotics he itched so much he got an infection. Any parents out there have any natural tips for excema relief? Also he has very severe asthma which has resulted in us using a breathing machine twice a day to try to be preventative about any colds or coughs.

My 20 month old is allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, sesame and soy. I think he also may be allergic to pollen as he has had a runny nose most of the Spring so far. It is definately a task feeding him since we found out that there is soy in everything. He can't eat most processed foods. The upside is that he is probably one of the healthiest kids around :). We keep an Epi-pen Jr. with him at all times and use Benedryl for any rash breakouts as well. A friend of mine gave me a cookbook called Bakin without eggs, so he got his first dessert at Easter this year.

My 8 1/2 month old daughter is allergic to peanuts, soy, milk, wheat, eggs and cod fish. As well as dogs - that is all she has been exposed to at this point.

My 7 year old's allergies have gotten worse with age. :(......I have to make all his foods from scratch because of the presence of Corn Syrup and Soy in almost everything!

He is allergic to: Peanuts, Nuts, All Tree Nuts, Soy, Bean, Peas, Corn, Corn Syrup, Soybeans, Corn, Rice, Strawberries, Carrots, Wheat, Grass and dust

Life is hard...so hard.

i dont know if i have posted here yet, but as things , allergy wise have changed, i thought i might as well update the list!

i have four kids, and one has a few allergies, he is 13,
current list, all have high ratings apart from kidney bean and cat.

raw egg (re-developed after outgrown, = 1st epi pen use last december)
peanut
brazil nut (outgrown all other tree nuts)
some beans, for e.g kidney bean and others (outgrown/passed food challenge to baked beans, low spt for chick pea)
kiwi fruit
yeast extract
dog,
others
cat (mild allergy)
dustmite
tree pollen
(outgrown hay fever, but tree pollen season seems to last longer these days!)

has had about 8 mild reactions this year, put down to severe environmental allergies, and expsosure to cooked egg , in slightly higher amounts...............appears that teen hormones are changing things for us.......
on daily antihistamine for enviromental allergies, but often refuses to take it, and has recently stopped 'forgetting' to take his meds to school with him.
teen rebellion..........................its here, and its staying here......................
