My 13 year old daughter is allergic to blue dye #1. A skin allergy - she breaks out in hives when any substance with this ingredient touches her skin. She also has a similar reaction to benzoyl peroxide.

Hello there -- just letting you know about the free WELLcharm giveaway here. WELLcharms = super cute medical alert jewelry. No one has commented on the blog, so you stand a pretty good chance!

Hi there!
My son is on the gluten & casein free diet, and is allergic to red dye, and treenuts. My daughter is allergic to milk. Fun at our house!

My whole family has food allergies. I'm allergic to a chemical called Protolase (commonly found in pineapples) my husband is allergic to shellfish and iodine, and my daughter is allergic to peanuts and treenuts. With all that, shopping can be a real chore. I sometimes say my daughter will be an only child because I don't think I could cope with yet another food allergy!

This is a great idea for a group. I had severe allergies, still have some, and both my sons have some allergies as well. Thanks for starting the group!

Hi Allergy Moms-
We are thrilled to be in your group.
ECHOage has built an ALLERGY ALERT system into our birthday party website! We feel that kids going to birthday parties need better protection. Our online invitation system offers moms who host ECHOage parties, and guests who attend them, an Allergy Alert system that let the mom of a child with allergies describe the allergy and what to do in case of an emergency. Guest parents RSVP online and let the hosting Mom know exactly what allergies their child has and any special instructions that are needed for administering emergency medication. Check it out. Tell us if you like it. Tell us how to make it even better for the kids!!!

Finamoon - sorry about the description, I removed the word "food". I haven't hit any of those issues (yet) so I didn't even think about it! (I'm sure you deal with that all the time...) Anyway - I bet you deal with some of the same headaches the food allergy moms deal with - glad you joined the group! :)

What about drug allergies? My 4 year old daughter doesn't currently have food allergies, but she is allergic to certain medication.
