There is no way from what I can see, to lock this group down so that other people can't see our discussions/members list.

Thank you for bringing this up though.
I will contact the Twitter Moms owner(s) and see if they have a way to lock groups down from prying eyes and people who still don't understand that we are good people, not a threat to them and their beliefs, we are not a threat to their families way of life either.

We allow them to live the way they choose, we simply ask for the same kind of respect.

Beware...I just got spammed about Christianity from someone names "prayingmommy". Just giving y'all a heads up. Can we lock down this list, or make it so they can't see our posts or something.

ARGH! I pointed out to the woman that none of us are going into Christian groups asking them to defend their faith/belief.

Just thought I'd alert y'all.

I'm pretty sure I set up the discussion area right, so you all should be able to start new discussion threads.
If you can't, please let me know and I'll fix it.
I want y'all to be able to talk about whatever kinds of issues/things related to living in, and raising kids in, a religious world when you're not.

I am agnostic, my husband is an atheist. I was not raised with any faith. So I have a hard time understand it. I think you have faith or you don't.

My husband has a degree in religious studies, he tries to explain some of it to me, but most of it I just don't get.

So my kids, will be left to make up their own minds.

We're not evil satan worshipers at all.
See, if we are atheist or even agnostic, it means we have no belief or doubt in, the existence of god(s). If we have no belief in one, we cannot have a belief in the other, because the bible, the only piece of "proof" for god's existence, is also the only thing that says that satan is real too.

I have no belief in either, so I don't worship either.
I just go about my life trying to do right by my family and my fellow man, because treating people the right way, with kindness and love, is how I want to be treated.

We're normal and good people, we just don't share the same belief in god(s), we do share the same morals and ethics, but without all the praying and faith, and hope, that we'll be rewarded for doing good when we die.
We live each day to our best, doing our best, because our reward is to know that at the end of the day, we tried to do right and good by our fellow humans.

We can hope! Mostly it's about educating other people that we're not evil satan worshippers ;-)
