Our church is doing auditions for their Christmas Play. I asked Dean if he wanted to try out for one of the non speaking parts. He told me no, and that he did not like pretend play. Okay. I asked. He answered.

The meeting was great. On paper, they changed him from grade 3 to grade 5. He gets to stay in the same class he is in because of the level of his daily living skills. He will be pulled out several times a week to sit in on a 5th and 6th grade classroom to cover academic materials that are his level. His goals on the IEP were all good. I think this will be a great year for him.
