still have children at home?

I have one still at home. She's 17 and a senior in high school. My other one, went off to college 3 years ago and barely comes home a few weekends a year. She has already moved on to the next phase of her life and is living in sin with her boyfriend (but still in college - yeah!).

My youngest sister had one child only and later in life. She is only 3 years younger than I, but her son just turned 7 in August.

I don't have kids at home. My only child was born when I was 39. She just turned 20. You do the math... LOL

Diane, I've been married and divorced twice and had two children with my first husband and one with my second. So I have two grown children who are 30 and 29, and an 18-year-old. My youngest is attending community college and living at home for at least one year, maybe two. I like the fact that I can postpone the empty nest syndrome just a little bit longer.

My 29-year-old is married but she still wants to wait at least a few more years to have children. I wouldn't be surprised if she was like your sister and waited until she was close to 40 or beyond. Well, at least her mid-30s I bet. I have a friend who's 51 (I'm 54) and her girls are about 8 and 11.

I still have both of mine at home, but not for long. My eldest is 17 years old and a senior in high school My youngest is 15 and a sophomore. Not sure how I'll handle not having them around.

I have just one daughter who is nearly 21, she still lives at home but stays away from home ever so often because of work.

Well, my youngest left for college in August, but another son graduated college and moved back home while he's looking for a house to buy. I figure he'll be here another month or so. It actually is making the transition of my youngest son leaving a bit easier to take.

Hi All, I have a 13 year old son and a 15 year old daughter. I had my kids when I was 39 and 41. I'm glad I waited to have them as I had a 20 year career before. It has enabled me to be more financially secure and also secure in staying home with them although I have always had something else going on. Now, it's blogging and social media. Since they all involved writing, this will probably see me through to when the kids leave. Thus, giving me the "option" of working for someone , if I want. I'd prefer to solo it alone!

I have two sons living at home in the Pit. (basement) They are 24 and 21. The older one quit college after 3 years and has been working full time at the only surviving lumber mill in our area. The younger one flunked out of his first year of college and moved back home last year. He works at the local gas station/minimart. My youngest daughter is in her first year of college in Billings, Montana. She is 18.
