This is a great idea...just cause they're grown doesn't mean you not still a mom!

Yes, I'm still trying to balance my days. First, I try to carve out specific time to WORK on the blog and blog related things. Then, I have to carve out time to write, fiddle with the design, read other blogs (and comment) use social media, write for my SVMoms & 50-something. Truly I believe I should be spending proportionately more time writing because in the end - that should draw people in. But the other side of my brain (the one that did advertising/marketing for 20 yrs) says "Woah, You need to find readers, they'll never find you!) Then it's time to do laundry....

Myrna, just saw your comment down below and your right. I spend more time promoting my blog than I do writing it. Who knew? I certainly didn't. I'm not complaining though. I love it. Its like my new baby since my others have fled the nest (one still comes home for college vacations).

Hey Gals!
I know I am going to love this site. Since I have had children since I am 19 years old and my youngest is a 10 year old... My oldest is 33 .I figured along time ago I cannot wait until they are all out of the house to follow my bliss. I have an online jewelry site www.throughmariseyes.com and am a self published author of : The Healing(true tales of a food addict) Trafford Publishing. I would write in parking lots while waiting for the kids to get out of school. Sketch designs at my night stand...Anything to stay creative! I come from a HUGE FAMILY. My Mom is one of 12 and I have 36 cousins on my Mothers side and 13 neices and nephews. I was trained to multi-task. Oh yes I also run our (My Husband & I) family business.
Take care and I want to hear how you stay creative in all of your busy lives!
