Yeah...um...i think i totally belong in this group. If someone else hadn't started it yet I would have had to! When you consider that my 4 year old has been getting his 2 year old little baby brother out of his crib, preparing them both bowls of cereal while my husband and I sleep -and that this has been going of for about...oh, a year...well then you'll understand that this group is exactly where I should be :)

sorry that was for the worst thing you have ever told your child! shrugs ... on the breakfast topic though..... I used to make strawberry short cakes for breakfast,but toldmy son NOT to tell his gram!!!! heeheehee

well for me I got a line from a freind in Georgia that I loved....."if you don't stop(yelling,fighting,talking back) in the backseat,I'll pull over and put you out of the car!" Worked with my oldest,and is still working now with the 4yr olds!
the other bad mommy thing I use to say,not to my son,but to friends JOKING of course,was- I'm never having kids,and when these kids parents get back to pick them up I'm gonna beat the snot out of 'em,right back my hiney! This was one of those I'd say on exasperating days,well I stopped when my oldest one day whilst I was explaining why his behavior was unacceptable,said to me "what do you care your not even my real mother,I heard you tell missDonna once you were watching me 'til my parents came back!" LOL now,but felt like a big pile of sh....aving cream.... so cleared that up & stopped saying that! schooled by the kid right.

When I was young, my dad would occasionally let us eat cake for breakfast. We had a lot of junk to eat, and sugar cereal so it wasn't much different. But we loved it!

Our kids eats pancakes (home made then frozen) or waffles for breakfast. The pancakes are pure white flour, the waffles are fortified and organic. ALL COVERED IN MAPLE SYRUP!

At least its a hot meal, right?

I love this group! My kids need to get their own breakfast at about 18 months! I love school lunch because then at least I know they get 1 serving of veggies a day!
