Hiya everyone,

I'm glad there's a way for the moms of the Bay Area to connect up! Introduce yourself and let us know the general area you hail from! :0)

I'm Catherine. I'm a stay at home mom living in the South Bay. I love exploring new places and restaurants (a foodie for sure, but not a snooty one!). I'm a laid back girl, with a techy hubby, creative kids, and a awesome cat. I'm an advocate of progressive education and LD support, indie music, and photography. And if that's not enough I love to organize neighborhood social groups, too (bookgroups, playgroups, supperclubs, you name it ;0) So catch me around The Valley or on The Web...I'm sure we'll have something mutually interesting to share or commiserate!

My name is Charlotte and I am a stay at home mom in San Ramon, East Bay. I have 3 kids age 4, 3, and 2 years old. And a 6-toed cat. My husband is a family doc with his own practice. I am an organizer too. I organized (with 2 of my friends) a mom's club for mom's not easily offended and a mom friendly book club. In our book club kids are welcome to the discussion groups and you don't even have to buy the book, let alone read it.

I am a bay area native and was born and raised in San Jose.

I am a native of California, and of the Bay Area, and currently make my home here with my husband and kids. I work a little bit, but spend most of my time volunteering at school or exploring new hobbies. On the plate this year: learn Japanese, sew a quilt, cook lots, raise some bees, and find new ways to give back to my community.

I'm Julija - 3 kids under 5. Looking for moms that have kids in this age range for play dates - please contact me! We are pretty much skipping preschool, so we need social time! I may have some yuumii activity days in the fall. Will post dates and places here - its free. Just me and my kids and fun! Look forward to meeting you all!

Im Katie, Im a first time mom living in pleasanton ca. I have an almost 9 month old and two doxies, but also watch an almost 3 yr old and 5 yr old 4 full days a week. I have been with them since the 3 three year old was 4 months old and they live in san ramon,ca. I would love to meet people with similar aged children for play dates. I have been a nanny for 7 years and wouldn't change what I do for anything=).
I used to scrap book ,love taking pictures, I am like to be on the go and have a ton of fun with the kids.; ▶ Reply to This

I'm Lori, mom of Noah (4) & Izzi (9). I run my own business & work full-time but with a somewhat flexible schedule as a portrait & wedding photographer. I shoot all over the Bay Area but when not shooting, work from home in Napa. I'm excited to join this group, meet other mom's in the area and happy to see so many of you are interested in photography as a hobby. I'm always happy to pass along photo tips & pointers for parents. I'm a huge advocate of learning to use your camera to capture better images. It's a gift to yourself and your family that keeps on giving! :) Besides pointers, I also teach a photography class for parents, if interested just shoot me a message.
