Greetings from Colorado!

My name is Audrey. I'm married, celebrated our 17th anniversary a week ago. We have four children (Kaitlen 17, Taylor 16, Brayden 14 and Breanna 11) and we are business owners.

My husband and my brother-in-law own a construction company. That keeps them busy, and I assist with bookkeeping on a part time basis.

I'm an independent distributor for Mia Bella, which has fit my lifestyle and my families for a few years! We have gourmet products from candles to our new line of Mineral Makeup (my girls are one of my top customers lol). It's been very rewarding for us, and it's been an honor to be a part of an amazing company.

I look forward to meeting all of you, learning and sharing with each of you.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Hi!

I began this venture when faced with a few challenges ... sooooo I got myself distracted
... I returned to a journal/sketchbook which I used to keep.

The journal included all kinds of sketches, on all types, colors & sizes of (taped) paper. These also included pieces of envelopes, napkins ... a bill for that matter. 'Found paper' for 'visual journalling'.

After a while, I fondly referred to these doodles, sketches & drawings my lemon-t-ZZ , giving much emphasis to the 'z's'. Then, it was a matter of 'attending' to them. They were 'mine' - & they needed to be *'aided' ... nurtured, cherished & taken care of. Now, I'm experimenting & enjoying every minute of it!

My 'journal sketchbook' initially titled lots o' lemons(!!), is now an *ongoing work ...
I make lemontzz-aide for the shop now ;0).

I use facebook, twitter, & my space so far. You can see some lemontzz aide here (link below), although the store is still in its infancy.

looking forward to hearing your own stories,

Well, I'm an affiliate marketer I have been for two years now and I have three beautiful children who I strive very hard for. I work for several companies, I market my products with social networking like Twitter, Facebook, Cafemom and I write articles for several websites. Articles are my favorite way to market my products and services. Someone is always looking for more info or something interesting to read. It's a pleasure to be around such great hard working and dedicate moms. I look forward to building a strong and prosperous relationship with you all.

Hello From Maine!

The funding for my position as literacy coach ran out and I found myself for the first time ever anticipating a life without a job! In anticipation of that cut, I began working on an internet site for children. It is going to be formally launched by Thanksgiving.

Basically, it is a site for children just learning to read, English language learners, and struggling readers. I also believe it would be helpful for kids with learning disabilities, autism, and dyslexia.

There are approximately 100 books ranging from preschool through the end of 2nd grade. The books are all completely customizable and downloadable. By customizable, I mean, you can insert pictures of your child, dog, cat, grandmother and so on into the story and change any of the text to match.

Although it is not officially up yet, the prototype version can be viewed and used by going to http://www.cookupbooks.com

These are not story books or read-alouds, they are books to help children learn to read in a way that (hopefully) will really interest them. If anyone has ideas for possible themes for future stories, please let me know!

Hi all!

My name is Chantielle and I am the Marketing Coordinator at Scribendi.com, a global leader in online editing and proofreading.

We are currently looking into some new things at our company, including creating a specialized blog post editing and proofreading service level. I joined this community to gather feedback on this idea—is it something that bloggers would find helpful, useful? How much would you expect to pay for edits to a 500 word post? If anyone would like to provide their thoughts, please feel free!

Also, we are currently hiring telecommute editors and proofreaders. If you have a background in writing or editing, we love to hear from you! Simply pop by the Scribendi.com Employment page or message me to learn more.

I look forward to getting to know you all.

Thanks!

Hi Lorna

Thanks for the invite to this group.

I am a "retired leader" with a candle company...where I earned top sales/top leadership national awards. I became allergic to alot of the products I sold "god's sense of humor telling me I wasn't following my true purpose"...what I enjoyed the most was coaching and training my gals to a significant income like I had!

I am owner of http://www.DesignedforDivineDestinations.com where we help ladies in any Home Party Plan (tupperware, avon, partylite, pampered chef etc...) learn how to get more "Bookings and Sales" & we will be rolling out our new product within the next few weeks!!

Very exciting and rewarding!

I'm also a radio host on several shows, mom of six, Amazing Woman's Day leader (with Marsh Engle), and do lots of public speaking locally and nationally!

Most of my advertising right now is strictly twitter and FB...as I like to make personal connections with leaders and help their groups! but I am learning!
