hello everyone!
i'm deirdre and i just joined up. born and raised catholic. i have issues with The Church, but my Faith in God is solid. I'm an open-minded person and i was raised that way. my uncle who is a jesuit approves and respects my opinions :)

I'm voting for Obama. I love my faith. I love my country. I go to church to learn about my faith and I practice my faith in my community NOT pushing it in my community like the Religious Right has done! My favorite song that I leaned in church is "They will know we are Christian by our Love." I don't have to push my beliefs on others, I just practice my faith and hopefully, I'll be an example of love, that's how I hope to emulate even a tiny bit of Jesus's teachings in my everyday life.
