Yes, I sent them an email last week after seeing on their website that there was malt flavoring in the pancakes & french toast. I wasn't happy with the response I got, however, I was pleased to see that they are now removing the malt from the products.

Starbucks announced on Friday that starting May 5, they will be selling a gluten free orange cake with almonds. It will be individually wrapped to avoid cross contamination and cost $2.25. This year has been very exciting with large companies becoming more celiac aware (Uno Chicago Grill gluten free pizza and General Mills introducing more gluten free varieties of Chex and some gluten free Betty Crocker mixes). Who will be the next company??? What gluten free products do you want? I would love to see gluten free eggrolls! As we celebrate celiac disease awareness month this May, let's hope for more manufacturers to develop gluten free products!
