My hubby and I did not get a chance to see it this past weekend. I was wondering what everyone thought of it.

My parents saw it with a group from their church and loved it. They're thinking of doing a bible study based on it, and not just with married couples. They said it covers relationships in general, not just marriage.

I saw it on Saturday with my husband. It starts out kind of slow and a little uneven in my opinion but then seems to find its groove. It's a good movie and I cried. I think every married couple should see it. I want to get the book that is coming out from the movie - "The Love Dare."

We enjoyed it. I agree it had a little slow start but found it's groove pretty quickly. I posted a little review of it on my personal blog Quiet-Mom.com

I do hope that more people go see it and support these guys in what they're doing. I've seen their other 2 movies, Facing the Giants and Flywheel. Considering a majority of the people working on these films are not "professional" actors, they've done a really great job on every movie. I hope they'll be encouraged to continue.

I haven't yet, but heard it is a great Date movie with dh!!! I figured with Kirk Cameron being in it that it would be a good Family values type movie. That is the one great thing once an actor takes a stand!!

This is cool:

FIREPROOF Opens in 59 New Cities
It’s opening day for FIREPROOF ... in nearly five dozen new theaters, that is. The No. 1 inspirational film in the country is expanding to a number of new cities. While the list covers much of the country, the West is well represented, with new theaters in Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Idaho, and Washington. In addition, we have already secured 15 more theaters for October 17.

Haven't seen it yet, but friend's husband said it is a must see. Did any of you hear about the kissing scene? Kirk Cameron said he wouldn't kiss his co-star, but others thought there had to be a kissing scene in the movie. So, they brought in his wife & filmed the kiss in dim lighting. For those of you who saw it, could you tell that it wasn't his co-star that he was kissing?

It was a very good movie with a slow start. Everyone should go and support this movie in the theaters! As for the kissing scene, you can't tell it's his wife. I like the fact that he won't kiss anyone but his wife.
