When am thinking of writing a decorating bible study.
Does it sound intriguing to anyone?

It would include your decor personalities
God's plan to home design.

The bible has a lot of information pertaining to home decor.

Can you explain a little more about this.

When I began to read the bible, I had my heals in the ground. I thought for sure I was going on a theological walk. Instead, I met God on the path of interior design. He got my attention when I read about the Tabernacle. The more I read, the more I wondered if decor and God went hand in hand. To may amazement it does.

Later, He requested I go to design school where I learned how to take someone's hobbies and interests and put them into their home.

My walk did not stop there. I took a Christian class in personalities and what motivates us. I discovered, Jesus was all 4 personalities. That is why He can speak and meet our individual needs. He understands. There are many stories in the bible supporting this. The fundamentals of interior design, the Bible and our personalities provides the design plan for the decor in our home. Just like us, each home is distinct and should reflect the people who live there.

I hope this was a bit of help. There more information.

I think it sounds near if you have enough biblical and scriptural reference to call it a bible study.

Jacqui,

Can you elaborate a bit for me? "it sounds near" do you mean near to a study. I desire to meet the needs of people. If you have insight, I am delighted to hear more.

“By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.” Proverbs 24:3-4 (NIV)

The hebrew word navah (nav-wah) means rest, dwell and beauty

God wanted a place to rest and dwell amongst us. He asked Solomon, son of David to build a dwelling place for Him. When I read about the construction, I was amazed with the attention to detail Solomon paid. God gave him everything he needed. Along with a blueprint, God provided him with the finest of craftsmen.

Our homes are much the same, when we stay focused on God's blue print and who we are in Him, our home's will automatically reflect who we are in Christ. Meaning, our personality and life's journey will be displayed.

There are four personalities. Each is motivated differently from the others. Christ was all four.

Yellow-Fun-Jesus turned water into wine at a wedding.

Red-High achiever and goal oriented-Jesus completed His mission on earth when He died for our sins.

Blue-Order and perfection-The details in the construction of the Tabernacle. God's attention to detail.

Green-Peace and calm-Jesus took time out to be by Himself. He was strengthened after spending 40 days in the dessert with God. Jesus also said, " I will give you rest."

You see, it is through God's wisdom and knowledge that we are able to beautify our homes. The result is "navah" A beautiful dwelling place we can go to find rest.

You said that there are many examples of this in the Bible. Could you name a few? Not sure if I can see the connection at all, but I'm open to listening!
