What are you making for Christmas presents?

Every year I make presents for the women in my family, however this year I have not been inspired. I can pretty much do any craft, so what is the craft of the year for us to make?

Last year, I crocheted everyone scarves and it was a big hit. I even had requests for more. This year, I made a few record bowls for the men in the family. It's really easy. You can google for great tutorials.

For the younger girls in my family, I made bracelets. Mostly simple beaded bracelets of their favorite colors. I was considering buying a soap making kit but decided against it because there are so many talented and inexpensive soap makers who I can purchase from.

I always end up making a few cross stitch pictures and/or change purses each year too.

I did the scarf thing a few years ago, we live in So Cal so I don't think more scarf's will work. I was also thinking of making soap or lotion, but like you said there are already so many wonderful people doing that.

I have also done the fleece blankets, and I have made necklaces two years in a row.

I am totally running out of ideas.

i'm doing wax dip bears for my kids teachers this year. I even found a cute posable bear holding an apple that says "#1 teacher"

I found the neatest thing at a flower shop today called wax pottery. They were like ball candles without the wicks and had leaves, shells, and other natural things melted into the wax and they smelled beautiful. I'd love to make those.

I am printing 12x12 storybook pages through www.bookyourlegacy.com and then mod podging them onto 12x12 pieces of either tile or wood - haven't quite decided which yet.
