Hi--My name is Cynthia, and I have a baby & children's clothing web business called Adorable Baby Clothing.com...http://www.adorablebabyclothing.com. Currently I have a promotion using the word "adorable" in the checkout coupon box which takes $5.00 off a minimum purchase of $25.00--that's a 20% discount! I also have a little contest going (see the front page of the site) that the winner will get a $25.00 gift certificate to use towards any merchandise on the site. I'm new to this forum and am looking forward to learning from all of you. I'm interested in link exchanges so let me hear from you. My site was started in 2007, and I've owned it for about 6 months now--so I'm still learning. There's an awesome selection of clothing for kids from preemie to size 12. The traffic has been pretty good, but my goal is to grow this site. I'm a grandmother, and love being a business woman and integral part of my grandchildren's lives! Thanks for taking time to read this and look forward to hearing from you. All My Best-Cynthia

Hi- I'm Rita Desnoyers-Garcia and I am the Founder of Becoming Awake and the Meditating Mamas program. My website at the moment is a blog: www.becomingawake1.blogspot.com and has about 50 subscribers to my weekly messages and monthly newsletter. The blog has weekly posts about my process of becoming "awake" or more conscious and then some reflection questions to take with you.

My audience is mostly mothers, but both men and women are invited. My blog also promotes my services: monthly workshops, weekly groups, and private coaching to help women become more connected to their true selves- finding peace, abundance, joy, love, and power. I am coming out with my first book, Extraordinary Abundance: Simple Yet Powerful Ways to Uncover the Richness of Your Life in May 2009.

In exchange for promotion of my business, I can provide promotion in my monthly newsletter or in my blog post.

Hi - My name is Patty, and I just recently started a small business. I don't even have traffic yet (just got the website up), but I wanted to introduce myself. I also recently started a sub-group of the Maplewood / South Orange chapter of Mothers and More (our chapter is the largest in the country with 450+ member) for women business owners. The group is small, but growing, and the first 2 meetings were so very informative. Our chapter of Mothers and More is very large and very diverse, so the group has a lot of information to share. I also recently volunteered to be a co-leader for the chapter (starting next month) I hope these volunteer positions and attending the business owners meetings will give me great experience, information, and "customers (directly or indirectly)

My business is called Art about the Baby. I paint very personalized paintings all about parent's babies or children. I have plans to expand the painting format to a few smaller less time consuming sizes, and design some birth announcements to go with them. and in the next year or 2 to create the paintings digitally and try and reach a national market.

I plan on doing more "marketing and advertising" in the fall, when my son starts pre-school. I havent been looking for work much now because of lack of time. so in the mean-time i plan on finishing my website, creating a blog and finding some local places to hang the paintings.

please check out my website:

http://www.artaboutthebaby.com

I would love to "exchange" advertising on my site in the future, but think it would not be very rewarding for someone to advertise there now.

thanks for your time. patty
